I live in a noisy area. Traffic noise is high and some neighbors have a dog. I do have a sound machine that helps drown out noise but it is not enough.
My main problem is excessive fear. Once I get up between 5 and 6AM, I am afraid of getting back to sleep. I fear that my neighbor's dog will wake me up that I am tense for a few hours and don't get back to sleep.
Most of the time the dog won't be barking so early anyway but the fear that it can happen, as it has in the past, is hard for me.
How can I deal with this fear? Thanks.
