Default Lexapro And Heart Disease?

Does anyone here have any experience with Lexapro (or any SSRIs) and heart disease? I have stable heart disease, had a heart attack and 2 stents implanted 1 1/2 yrs ago. I'm taking Plavix,Metropol,Simvastatin and an aspirin daily. I've been overwhelmed with extreme stress and anxiety lately, accompanied by depression and my family doctor gave me a prescription for Lexapro today. He kind of glossed over the risks and told me I'd have to decide if the benefits outweighed them. I've spent hours reading everything on the net re side effects and possible drug interactions which include a higher risk of upper GI bleeding with the Plavix and aspirin and lowered BP with the Metropol. Some articles think that Lexapro greatly lowers the risk of future heart attacks and some say that it raises it. Its pretty confusing and I'd like to hear from somebody that is in or has been in the same situation.
Thanks
