Default If you were trapped on an island, would you develop this disorder?

I am doing research on the psychological effects of being trapped on an island. For the most part, I want to understand what the multiple factors of being isolated on an island for an extended period of time would do to a person. I’m planning on using any information given as an aid to writing a fictional story based on this topic. I will suppose a hypothetical scenario in which I will ask that you can supply the best information you have available to you.

Supposing that there are a substantial amount of survivors that have been shipwrecked on an island, what would the effects be of being stranded for a lengthy period of time? I assume there would be some sort of anxiety disorders developed in the majority of the people, but others would suffer from different. I understand that exact predicaments about what a person may develop depends on their history, for example, if they suffer from depression or some sort of mood disorder. It would very well have an effect on the person subjected to this situation if they had been part of a war or some sort of traumatic event before this occurrence. Are there any books or case studies on this specific topic? If anyone has any information regarding this, it would be very appreciated if the names of books, websites, research studies or anything relevant could be suggested.
