Default the stress response

ok so most ppl that i've heard of any way , when under a lot of stress gain weight. anyone ever hear of the stress response causing drastic weight loss even if the diet remains the same?? ok so may be not too drastic but like 10 lbs in one week.

Are you sure the diet remains the same?

Usually in stressful situations, people tend to eat more or eat less. Maybe its just the appearance of the diet remaining the same.

no i eat the same, well sometimes a little bit more, but i tend to drop weight like crazy. a couple of months ago i lost 30 lbs in 3 weeks. it freaked me right out, i went and have a whole bunch of blood work and stuff done. it showed nothing and my doc, who is excellent, is at a loss for why i dropped so quickly, so i have a few things i have to do when i get really stressed. i get really bad heartburn too, only when i'm supper stressed and the event is over.?? who knows. but i feel like a freak anyway.
