Yes,
It is a well known fact that lack of sleep leads to weight gain.
This is due to irregular eating habits and/or overeating.
If you sleep more,you may eat less so it's possible but you might have to work off the extra pounds you've gained because you take in more calories than you expend as energy throughout the day. That's it in a nutshell, not much else to say about it.
