I've been feeling groggy, stressed, etc. during the day and I'm convinced that it's due to light sleep. My girlfriend tells me I wake up incredibly easy (which I don't ever remember) but considering I get 7-8 hours of sleep every night, I don't know why I'm feeling this way. I have chronic back pain, nothing major but it sometimes flares up and makes me uncomfortable. I'm not sure if that's causing this as I never have any trouble falling asleep in the first place.
I was also wondering... would sleep aids would be a good remedy for this? I take herbal remedies some nights (valerian, 5htp) and that helps me fall asleep faster but doesn't seem to really help overall. That said, I had Benadryl the other night for allergies and the following morning felt more refreshed than I had in a while.
