Default Sleep Paralysis

Hello. I seem to be having a problem with paralysis whilst trying to sleep. When I try to sleep I become repeatedly paralysed for 10 - 30 seconds until I push forward enough willpower in order to break free.

Sometimes I can feel it coming too. It comes from a pressure within my ears and if I move whilst it is 'building up', so to speak - it goes. However, when I am dozing off it hits me by surprise and the feeling is not pleasant for trying to get to sleep.

When I use the term 'paralysis' it isn't entirely true though. I can move my hands and feet ever so slightly, but it still may as well be it. I also seem to feel a relief after I have 'broken free' of the paralysis.

This only happens when I try to go to sleep, not after I have woken up. Does anyone have any advice or assistance? I've looked up for information on it but cannot seem to find anything to what I've got.
