I get electric tingling shocks in my head and back of neck upon waking up up sometimes. I am always conscious I am dreaming and then become paralized right before the electric feeling comes. I hear a rushing buzzing sound in my ears. This is very scary and can last up to about 45 seconds before I finally wake up and am no longer paralized. A couple times when I finally was awake, I felt shaking and hallucinted. Does anyone know what this is or has this happened to anyone else?? I do know that substance which put me into light sleep stages (such as antihistimine or alcohol) usually cause this to happen.
