Default Burning, tingling sensation in joints while light sleeping.

For the last year now I have been experiencing a burning, tingling sensation in the areas around my elbows, knees and sometimes ankles while attempting to fall asleep. When this happens it causes me to wake up in pain, resulting is anxiety... blah… blah…with out taking my sleep aid and anxiety medication I sleep very lightly if at all. If these meds are not taken upon lying down to sleep this always happens. I am wondering if anyone can relate to this experience.
