This has a lot to do with upbringing and what a woman has heard from other women and important people around her. A lot of women are told from their moms that this is not a thing 'nice' girls do at an early age. It sticks with them and unless they get a new understanding it doesn't leave. A hate to tell you this, but based on how long you've dealt with this, I would say at this point her values are pretty much set on this issue. Most women chose "to do" or "not to do" at an early age. She may do it for you, but she want enjoy it. So you probably want either.
