Default Ovulaton Link With Scary Nightmares!!

Good evening to all ...after some thought i came to the conclusion seeingas this is related to sex hormones it was better it was posted here , not the sleep problems forum ...

Just looking at some interesting info today as follows ..i do agree with this thought i share it on mens ..
Women experience far more terrifying nightmares thsan men a study has found . Their dreams are also more intense and leave more of an impression when they wake up , scientists report .
Psychologists say changes in a womans body temp caused by her monthly cyle- are responsible for increasing the number of vivid and disturbing dreams . the findings come from a study of 170 volunteers of the University of the West of England . Ehen asked to record their most recent dream 19 per cent of male students reported having a nightmare compared to 30 per cent of women . The study due to be published in a journal, also found womens dreams more emotional . Dr Parker believes that the nightmares help the brain "rehearse" distressing and disturbing events that one is likely to encounter in the future , but there are differrent types of nightmares and women report more of them . Her work has identified at least three distinct types, all of which may allow the brain rehearse its reaction to a distressing or dangerous situation . One involves being chased ...(regular for me ) or hunted the other involves the loss of parent or child or partner. The third involves wierd or new environments ! Past studies link changes in body temp , a womans temperature usually rises after ovulation - half way through the monthly cycle ..and falls agin just before the period starts . Dr parker says there was evidence linking the dreams to mensral cycle . women who are *pre menstral* tend to dream more *aggressively* and are also more likely to remember that dream .
Dr Chris Idikowski director of Edinburgh Sleep Centre said , there are significant differances in the way men and women dream ...women always remember dreams more than men , he told the British Association Science Festival in Liverpool Uk . ...They end up talking more about thier mental life than men !! so theres more ability to remember !
Dreaming is part of normal sleep pattern and happens for those who insist they dont dont dream . 25 per cent of children are woken by nightmares onces a week .
Regarding this ovulation/period connection thats perfectly true in my opinion and happens just before that time for me i expect a terrifiying nightmare and generally my prediction just before comes true !! How lovely it is to be a woman ! ...you dont think its the pasta do you ?
