Sorry to jump in on a conversation, but men aren't the only ones being "put to sleep" in their marriages. My husband and I have a "decent" marriage, but he's never been all that interested in sex. It's been almost three years since he's made love to me, and I'm going crazy. This morning I woke him up with a blow job just to see if he was still alive down there. LOL...(BTW, he was appreciative, but still didn't lift a finger to touch me, and honest, I'm not ugly!)
Anyway, despite my sarcasm, I do care for him, and our child is my life. I don't want to blow up our family. But I'm *this close* to embarking on an affair with a man whose wife hasn't shown an interest in ages. I can't believe I'm doing this, but I feel like I've lost myself during our marriage and I don't know what else to do. I just need to feel that energy again.
