What is the general consensus involving using sex personals to find hookups or no strings attached relationships?

I guess I'll explain my situation. I'm an 18 year old college freshman who is home on spring break. There is absolutely nothing to do. When there is nothing to do, thoughts naturally turn to sex. I decided to throw up a personal on craigslist for the sheer fun of it, just to see if anyone would respond. Well responses I got, and now I'm actually considering going through with it. Am I absolutely crazy?
