These cookies are packed with the protein and fiber that your body needs to make it to lunch! They are great for breakfast, or a quick snack!

Ingredients
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
3 cups all purpose flour
2 cups quick oats
1 tbsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1/3 cup ground almonds
1/3 cup wheat germ
1/3 cup ground flax
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup apple sauce
1/4 cup water
3 eggs
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup golden raisins
Steps
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Line two cookie sheets with parchment paper.
3. In a large bowl mix together sugar, flour, oats, baking soda, baking powder, ginger, cloves, flax, almonds and wheat germ.
4. Make a well in the center and add oil, applesauce, water, eggs and vanilla to the center and mix.
5. Stir in raisins.
6. Scoop out 2 tablespoons of cookie mix per cookie onto cookie sheets.
7. Flatten with the back of a spoon to desired size (cookies will not expand).
8. Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
9. Allow cookies to cool for 15-20 minutes. Individually wrap and freeze for morning breakfasts.
