Default Bladder problems after radiation

The reason I am here and not on the cervical cancer board is that I cannot find someone who has had pelvic radiation for cervical cancer, and I am assuming there may be some here who have. I have been having burning and pain passing urine and afterwards. Sometimes the pain is constant throughout the day. Has anyone who has had pelvic radiation had something similar to this. I have heard of radiation cystitis, but do not know much about it. The pain and burning has become quite unbearable and I do not know what to do. I have mentioned it to the radiation oncologist and basically tells me it will go away in time but it has been months and the pain is chronic. If anyone has any advice I would greatly appreciate it.
