You supported me through those difficult weeks following surgery, getting through the many changes in my body. You encouraged me until I started feeling somewhat "normal" again.

You helped me get through my first post-surgery PSA test, congratulated me with sincerity, and you gave me courage to brace for those tests to come.

You showed me how to be compassionate to others.

You showed me how to laugh and to cry with good people who I have never met in-person, but feel a great connection with.

Thank you for every little thing and for helping me through this first year.
