Default One shake or more

I was at my yearly golf outing in northern Michigan (TreeTops) last week and for one round was paired up with a fellow PCa survivor. Fred is retired AT&T tech, all around good guy, darn good golfer, and a fellow Detroit Lions fan (someone has to cheer for them). He had robotic lap. surgery about 6 years ago and on the back nine we were comparing note.
One common thing we did find was that it now take more than one or two shakes of the willy to empty it of urine. With out this you always ended up with a wet spot in your short at best. Neither of us had this problem before surgery, and now have no leakage issues. One or two shakes was all it took back them.

Does anyone know why?
