Default What are some early signs of prostate problems?

I don't pee all the time, and I've heard that is one symptom. But when I'm done peeing, there usually is a moderate amount of urine that leaks out as I'm putting everything away. I shake my penis enough and more urine comes out, but not in a stream, but more like a leak. Can anyone tell me if this is normal. I'm 28, if that means anything.

David one of the symptoms or indications that further investigation *may* be required in connection with prostate issue is the urge to urinate but only passing a very small amount of urine and a feeling that the bladder is still full or indeed not being able to pass urine at all !! this is generally a problem that arises for older men ..much older than 28.

The symptoms that you describe i would say that you do need to visit your doctor and have further tests ...you may need to have a cystoscopy that is a camera on a thin telescope ...(called a cystoscope) that will look into the bladder via the urethra ..healthy urine should be straw coloured or lighter anything darker...foul smelling , cloudy, is an indication of infection ...if its just darker then you should be drinking more water until urine lightens . there are a number of reason why this could be happening from kidney stones to a bit of a furring up of the urethra the act of having a cystoscopy ect can be a sort of hoover getting rid of that enabling you to pass water freely ...or you may need urethral dialation ..not as painful as it sounds just meand you will be able to have a good stream of urine and no difficulty to pass it. If it was the case you were unable to pass water for more than one day - that is a medical emergency and you must seek attention it is dangerous ..but dont worry ...its best to see your doctor who will adivise you on this matter .

good luck
