Wallflowers are stocks that have dropped in value significantly mainly because they simply lost popularity with investors. The P/E ratio (Price per share divided by the earnings per share) of these stocks are usually very low. This means that the stock is undervalued based on it's earnings. Wallflowers are usually in most cases very good investments, because sooner or later they are bound to appreciate in value.
