Hello everyone. I am new to these boards. I am trying to find out some information. I am just getting into investing, both short term and long term. I have a few books and have a basic understanding of investing.

The area that intersts me currently is stocks. The problem is, with these books i read, they say to DO YOUR HOMEWORK, research the company read reports and what not. The problem is, WHAT reports do i look into? I know i could go to sec.gov, but again, what reports do i look for and what type of info should i look for.
