My wife and I have been happily married for over 30 years and this is a pretty small issue but I'm having difficulty coping.
On 4 specific occasions we have gone to dances (or weddings) and my wife says she doesn't want to dance when I ask her repeatedly. Later, she will dance with another man and seem to be having great fun. It was a different person each time and I don't feel jealous but I do feel hurt. I've told her how I feel after each time but it doesn't seem to make an impact. Would this bother you? |

Could it be that your wife is self conscious - so when you ask her to dance at the beginning of the evening she says no, but when she's had a few glasses of something nice and starts to unwind a little, maybe she really wants to dance. Only by that time, you've already asked her and been offended, but someone else offers and she's away having a great time!
Try asking her to dance later on in the night. And while you're at it, ask her to save the last dance for you, as a romantic gesture! |

Take up dancing lessons and learn to be a real charmer on the dance floor.
Next time you go to a Wedding and she says no, ask another lady and show your stuff, bet she will dance with you from then on.. CW |
