Default my dh is depressed

We've been married for 2 years and together for 4. He has a bum kidney that causes grief but still works just about full time. Recently he told me he didn't love me anymore and after being devastated we decided to get marriage counselling. After going for a while things seemed to get better - so i thought - however i was mistaken yet again. He doesn't want to be intimate with me b/c he doesn't want to confuse things. But I'm starting to be ever so desperate for affection. I don't, and would like to think I'd never, cheat - but I'm just at the point that I need a genuine "i'm interested" hug and a real passionate kiss - but I don't know what to do. I can't tell him this b/c I think it will push him further into his depression...

guys? any help?

You have to express your feelings before him i think that would be more better ..
Otherwise he will think that you dont care for him..

Try to express whatever you feel for him and how much you love him...also make him to realize that you will be with him forever in any condition

It is also possible, that he is on a medication that is actually bringing him down more, or the other way around, that he needs medication for anxiety, depression so that he can think clearer.

Depression is not something you can let lie low.

IF he is suffering from depression then you have to communicate with him more so that he can speak out the tensions or why he feel like this?

rest of Galyaone said already..

Husband and wife ... this relation is complete one where you can cry and laugh also.. You are the only one person who can understand him. So talk with him and try to understand the reason behind his depression..

Once you get it you have to tried to make him happy..
