Harsh argument today - a lot of things were said. Is it better to "get it all out" and clear the air, with lingering hurt on both sides or to keep it to yourself and bear up under it? The things about him that drive me crazy are not things that are going to change.

I don't believe in arguing for that exact reason, you say things that you otherwise would not have said and more likely regret after doing so.

If you can't communicate and work through issues that drive you both nuts, then you are not compatible so i can't see it changing.

I thinks you have to understand him first and then then try to convince him how your thoughts are good for that conditions.. It will help you for your better life..
