Default Left middle Delt pain

Thank you to anyone who may provide advice.

I will make this short and sweet. I have been working out for years, and I don't go to heavy on chest, shoulders because of the risk of injury..hahaha now this. Shortly after chest day, I realized when going to do a push up, that my shoulder hurt. I thought I slept on it wrong. Now, 2 weeks later and no chest workouts or shoulder workouts in that time, it is still sore and I still can't do a push-up without pain. Although, once I get going on pushups into about 10, it stops hurting and I am fine. I have only done this one in 2 weeks and that was 2 days ago because I am aggrivated it won't go away. The pain is on the outside of the delt, right in the middle, on what feel like either a decent muscle, or tendon. If I feel around, I can feel the exact muscle/tendon that is hurting. It hurts when I rotate my arm around in a windmill motion. Is this something serious or just a typical strain?

Thanks agian.
