Default I do not understand!! O/t?

Most peeps here know I didn't live the healthiest life style in the past. What I don't understand is that since I have started to eat properly, exercise and all that stuff, I am sicker than I ever was before!!

I don't get it, I keep the hygene proper, I eat right, yet I am falling ill more often than not.

WTF??? I don't get it..

Sounds like you have changed the way your body was used to operating and it is still getting used to it.

Although I find that when I go to the gym more, I seem to pick up more bugs (as opposed to the normal ones the kids bring home from school).

being healthy does not GUARANTEE you will be healthy! It improves your odds tremendously, but not 100%. You should improve.
And, give it some time. May take a while to flush everything out.
Last, this is prime flu and cold season!!!

if you go to a gym chain, you will get more bugs b/c more ppl are using the equipment, breath the same air, etc.
As for the diet, it probably depends on how long you were living an "unhealthy" lifestyle. Give your body time to re-adjust.

It might just be a bad year. Everyone I know here (in my town - not here in the forum) is sick as a dog and it's taking forever to get over it. I've even heard rumors about places closing their doors for a week in attempt to have everyone go home and get better.

It's been unseasonably warm here though, and I think the cold weather helps kill a lot of the germs. So maybe as we experience global warming, we might get a little sicker. (But that's just the Ditz's theory) Wink

I think your body is still acclimating. As you get rid of some of the toxins, you're going to be more susceptible to intruding germs.
Better health is coming!

great to hear that you're sticking to your exercise commitment. Maybe spend some time outside walking/ running for the fresh air.
Also, keep the paws scrubbed- everywhere you go.

Congrats on the healthier lifestyle!
But no matter how well you take care of yourself, you have no control over other people who (when sick) carelessly spread their germs. And it is especially hard to stay completely sick-free when you have young children, who pick up germs from the other kids at school.
