Hello Gitsy,

Fruits (especially bananas, blueberries, raspberries, apples)
Instant Oatmeal (plain)
Sweet Potatoes
Whole Grain Breads
Eggs
Steak
Chicken
Fish (tuna,salmon)
Turkey
Spinach
Broccoli
Almonds/cashews/peanuts
Protein Shakes
Multivitamin

I am guessing you will have a chance to eat a good breakfast every morning before football training and here is a basic idea for what you should have every morning

CARBS - a few slices of lightly toasted whole grain bread with a little butter
OR
a big bowl of oatmeal
Throw some fresh fruit in the oatmeal (if this isnt flavorful enough for you to eat easily then just throw some honey in there too I guess)

PROTEIN - at least 3 eggs (prepare however you wish..hardboiled...scrambled with cheese...whatever)
or... milk+whey protein powder+ice in blender

if you dont have the time to make food....

throw this in a blender

Milk
Whey Protein Powder
1 cup frozen blueberries OR 1 or 2 bananas
Natural peanut butter
Honey

drink it!

Let me know if it worked for you ! !

Great question. First make sure that you eat Carbs at dinner every night before you have practice. The carbs will give you energy throughout the whole practice. Before you go to practice eat a protein snack like peanuts, lunch meat or a protein bar. After practice drink a protein shake that contains only whey protein. Do not drink Creatin or any other supplements. Stay away from the sports drink unless necessary as the sugar will sap your energy late in practice.

You want fat since it has the most calories per gram. Just have high fiber cycles with that and you'll be ok. If it drags you down try pasta.

Or just buy Hydroxycut/Xenedrine ETC....

Have something like steak for protein, pasta for carbs, and stuff like water, gatorade.
