Default slimmer legs

help!

i was hoping someone would be able to give me some great tips on how to *slim* a women's legs. my girl friends legs are a little too "bulky" for my liking, and i would like them to be more streamlined and feminine looking. currently, I have suggested her do a lot of walking and jogging, probably 4-5 days a week. are there are any particular exercises that would help?

any tips would be appreciated. thanks!

When you say 'bulky' do you mean are carrying excess weight? Or is your muscle build bulky? Some people simply have larger leg muscles due to a combination of exercise and genetics. So in that case there isn't a hell of a lot you can do really. If they are carrying some extra weight then you are on the right track with your cardio training but make sure your diet is combining with your training to help you slim down some of those extra pounds..

i think her legs aren't proportional to the rest of my body because she is a petite person. so i'm afraid it may be genetics =(

Ya well if it is genetics then it is most likely a combination of large leg bones and muscles then you have to embrace it! Just told her - Love the skin your in and just keep exercising and staying fit! Don't compare your legs to the skinny fashion models because that isn't a true indication of reality!

It's pretty common among women that our genetics cause our legs to be bigger than our upper bodies. We can't do anything about their genes, but that doesn't mean that nothing can be done. There are no exercises that will "slim" your legs. When you lose fat you lose it everywhere, regaurdless of what you are doing for exercises for certain body parts. If you focus on losing a little fat your legs will get slimmer, which is great. However, your upper body will look slimmer too, which won't help with the disproportional look.
One way to work on that is building up a little muscle in your upper body. You will certainly not look big and bulky int he upper body-; you women do not have the testosterone for that! But building up just a bit of firm muscle can give you a fit look up top and even you out a bit.
Hope that helps!

Here are a few easy-to-do exercises and the best part is you don't need to go to the gym or buy some fancy exercise equipment.

Try some squats
Do some wall sits
Standing Stretch

What ever time works best for you. The most important thing is to workout. Everyone has their own opinion on this. I just to workout in the morning and get it out the way. But, most people feel better working out in the afternoon or the even. I have a few clients that aren't morning people so, they wouldn't even think of working out in the morning.
