Default HIIT and Left Knee Pain

Hello Guys, currently doing NROL FL 1 and on my off days I do HIIT in the stationary Bike. Two weeks ago i started getting some pain in my left knee, I had this pain before ( 4 months ago) when I didnt exercise or anything, so I started working out and went away, just suddenly came back 2 weeks ago, not as bad though.

I have to pay closer attention to my squat and DL form, the pain might be coming from there but as I said, when I do HIIT on the bike, when I am halfway done with my 20 minutes, I feel pain in my left knee, both on right and left side but more pressure towards the vastus medialis. As soon as I am done with HIIT the pain goes away. I was wondering what can I do to substitue the HIIT and still keep losing weight here? Will simply walking with incline help? or should I just do normal steady biking ?

Your advice will be greatly appreciated.
