Default Excercises for skiing ?

I was training my legs hard before ski season and it helped a lot

The surprising thing is how much I use my hip flexors, especially when in the tuck position

so I do sit ups for that

but how do you work the TOP of the quads and the top outside of the quads?

These muscles are always burning when I ski
