Default ED or cause for concern

my husb has been suffering from ED since the age of 19. he is now 40, has the occational 'morning glory'. we have sex once a month, i kid you not. doc has given him meds. im weary of approaching him for sex. i dont want to put him on the spot. i could have it every day. i would settle for once a week. but once a month!?! he keeps sayin that he is not so young anymore and doesnt get 'lus' anymore...all thats changed in just a year? please any comments or advice very welcome
