I just thought I'd pose this question because the FDA is one step closer to approving cloned beef and milk for sale in the US.
I know that cloning is used a lot in vegetable farming to grow stable and hearty crops, but cloning beef seems wrong to me. I know it might sound corny, but it seems like the meat raised from these animals would be souless and creepy.
From what I understand, the FDA isn't going to require any special labeling to let consumers know it's cloned, either. That's also creepy.
What are your thoughts on this topic? Would you buy cloned beef or milk if it were marked as such?
