Protein supplements will only help when taken with a good diet and good exercise plan. I would recommend reading the essential reading in the weight training forum a few up for some basic nutritional guidelines and a good exercise routine.

Many here use either Nitrean(At Large Nutrition - Your number one choice for nutritional supplements.) or an Optimum Nutrition variety which can come from a store. How much depends on you but 20-30 grams after a workout usually is enough.

After you finish your weight lifting workouts a carbohydrate/protein shake would be optimal. You could even drink half the shake pre or during and the rest after.

If I were you I would separate the cardio and weight-lifting. Check the reading out that I recommended in the other post and pick that full body routine up. That way you can do cardio on alternating days.

You can get tons of protein supliments , but i suggest not to take them as they have side effects on our body... Take banana shake, eat green vegetables, milk...
