I have suffered from fatigue for quite a while now (a number of years) and was recently diagnosed with a few food intolerance and Giardia, which I adjusted my diet for and took antibiotics for. I felt OK for a week or two and then a lot of the old symptoms returned, coupled with loss of appetite (I do still eat), weight loss, occasional blurred vision and extreme fatigue until I have eaten my lunch.
Today I woke up after good nights sleep and felt totally drained and dizzy until I ate a yoghurt (I didn't actually feel hungry but I ate it none the less) and about 10 minutes later felt a bit better. I still feel really drained having had my lunch. I don't know whether the Giardia has come back or whether my dietry changes might have highlighted something like Diabetes. The docs have taken a smaple to test for Giardia and I am having a blood test on Monday which is going to check the glucose levels, I was wondering if this is the standard Diabetes test and whether I should prepare myself for the new I may have it.
