Allo folks this is my first post. I found out last friday (the day before my wedding)that iam a type 2 Diabetic.Went to see Dr over seperate health issue, expressed concerns over constant thirst urinating etc and he immediatly did a blood suger test.....21.3. Was rushed to hospital and was discharged 4 hrs later with metformin and diet sheets.The whole thing has frightened the life out of me. Iam scared stiff !!! I know ive only got myself to blame (im 4 stone overweight and have guzzled fizzy drinks for months)Since last friday ive been monitoring my blood suger levels. but they seem so erratic.Last night i was 10.1 went to bed(had nothing to eat drank water)got up this morning and before breakfast monitored at 15.1 i cant understand what is going on???. Can anyone cas any light on this.
