can anyone offer advice on this i recently was put on metformin twice a day because of a high blood sugar reading perhaps i should say i am a type 2 diabetic and have been for ten years and have had good control untill recently hence the metformin but now my blood sugars are between 5 and 8 overnight and after breakfast 2 hours later between 9 and 13 and before bed between 7 and 8 is this normal once going onto metformin for prior to that my blood sugars were steady at between 7 and 9 any time of the day
