Default im scared

I have just been to the docs today. Im 34 and weigh 8 stone 3 so not overweight but have been struggling to put weight on for years and feeling very tired all the time. At the docs they did a blood sugar test which came out at 6.9. The nurse told me that normal levels are between 4 and 6 so mine is high but she said i dont fit the usual catagories for type 1 or type 2 as type 1 she said affects the young mostly and type 2 for people who are overweight (no offence meant to anyone) She told me she is speaking to the docs as she is concerned as to why my blood sugar is above the normal. Has anyone els had this? I dont know what to expect and a little scared after reading some of the post on here. Can anyone help?
