Default Forgot if I took pills

all this is my first post. I believe I have type 2 diabetes. I'm on 2 glyburide (5 mg) and 2 metformin (500 mg) twice a day.

I hope I'm posting in the right section. :S My problem is that I cannot remember if I took my pills. Hehe I'm not kidding it was 5 minutes ago but I just can't remember if I took them. The problem is the task is so repetitive that when I search my mind for the memory of taking them there is a ready image there from the 100s of times I took them before and I cannot verify it.

It's happened to me now a few times. I suppose I will have to mark down when I take the pills in a little book or something and get into that habit to overcome this problem.

My question is: what to do when you can't remember if you've taken the pills?
