Default What is this "impaired glucose tolerance"

Back from the Doctor today after 2 Blood tests and a Glucose tolerance test over the last 6 weeks. He tells me that I have impaired Glucose tolerance and because of family history likely to go onto full Diabetes . Exercising 3 times a week (hour sessions), already watching my diet and still getting sweating, tremor, floaters and what I describe as a morning after crah. Is this normal and what more do I do ?? Test results ranged from 6.9 to 7.7. Very frustrated Is there anyone else in the same position and what are you doing.

Been offered further blood test in 3 months.
