OK, I just had a good convo with a real good friend of mine and she helped put things in perspective. It's not that I take a single rejection too personally or am in a rush to get in a relationship. It's getting tired of the bumpy road along the way. I feel so much better now. I'm glad I have her as a friend.

I'd write the date you mentioned off. It wasn't very classy of her to make a comment that was so personal. Some girls like outgoing guys, others like quieter guys. However a good general way of conveying personality is being expressive with your face. Smile a lot. Show emotions. Say how you feel and think. Try not to give one word answers. Everyone has personality, just some people are shy and are closed off until they get to know someone. Unfortunately people tend to make snap judgements on dates.

Your profile is fine but it is a little too logical. You start off saying you do not have high expectations from dating. While that is sensible, you want to talk about all the fun you and your potential date can have together.

you just have to make a pimp decision. if she's talking about something, and you know ANYTHING of the topic... be like 'i dont know much about it but i heard 'yadayadayada'...that'll let her know that you're interested and are listening... we like that. =]
