Default How Fit are You?

Do you have any idea how fit you are?

Has anyone done the VO2 Max Test?

How about the Resting Metabolic Rate Test?

Or the Wingate Anaerobic Test?

Just curious....

Don't you need to like, go to a specialized place to get those types of tests?
I mean, I consider myself to be pretty fit but as far as "how" fit, I don't know.

Yeah, you do need to go to specialist to get tested.
I was just wondering if anyone has done that.
I personally gage my fitness by my lab results, bp, chol, and my BMI.

I think for the average person, lab tests, body fat percentage, strength, flexibility and stamina are all good indicators of fitness.

I have good cardiovascular fitness; my body fat and BMI are good; I could use some work on upper body strength and also on flexibility.

I don't know the numbers but based on bp, cholesterol, resting heart rate plus general health, I'd say I'm possibly in the best condition of my life at the ripe old age of 46

I have had some of those test done. They did them right at my gym. They do a body age assestment, VO2 max, and RMR and I think a couple more if I am not mistaken. I am glad I took the test, it has help point me in the right direction for my workouts and nutrition. I would be lost without them, it gave me the foundation of me getting healthy. It actully scared me when I recieved the results. I am in that good of shape (thus the reason I'm workingout alot and eating healthy lol).

It's good you are doing lots of workout and eating more
But just be careful while you are eating more calories food, it can hurt your body shape. So eat more but have a healthy food and keep it up while doing workout. Have a healthy life
