I was not referring to your thread regarding what happened persay, but agreeing that we have to be safe and sure.
How do you know a man? We don't until we "get to know him" and time is an essense. So again, i am agreeing with you if you want to go without the Condom and your in a committed relationship and want to be worry free, do you then get a blood test. Would you need any other tests if you were being protective prior, with a condom? On you personally that is, or once you no longer have used one and something arises that makes you wary and therefore check it out...

What tests would you want the man to get then, in order for him to prove that you will be safe? That may be more pertinent.
Point being, even women with high morals make an error of judgement and it's fantastic that you can post this stuff to make an awareness..
As for one night stands, i certainly am a lucky lady as whilst i am not into them, i have had several relationships, and a marriage, i don't disagree with them, they happen, i just don't see the necessity to give for a night just for the hell of it, much better with a fair wack of lust involved...

Again about testing and to what would or should a person do - really its always just best to go *before* that hot night of love but seeing as i am a realistic sort of soul
...it dosent always happen so best to have at least the male condom handy at all times and not to rely on the guy ...with ..hey im outof them ...its 3.am and i carnt find a place to buy them and the wine tells me il NEVER make it to that store anyway !!
...but if a person is keen on that guy ect i would say a visit to the local GU clinic which does testing for free, or if that person prefers a private hospital will do it for them but thats expensive and really why pay when NHS here , is happy to provide this service free of charge ...both partners could go if they want to do that ... The ones i would be getting checked for is herpes , no thankfully i do not have it but is quite common ...chlamydia and gonorrhea , both partners both by painless swabbing and the mans penis will just have a gentle squeeze and urine samples will be required Trichomonas and yeast infections ruled out and HIV if that person thinks they may have been at risk in the past or they are in a gay relationship Hep ...various ..syphillis is fairly rare but over the last number of years there are more cases of teenage hetrosexual girls getting this ..here in UK and njust a general check around to one or two tests to what we call the full sexual MOT thats the term used at the clinic (it just means running all test) history is discussed and so are any previous gyne conditions . Chlamydia can be caught from oral sex without the man using a condom and also G ect . |Chlamydia can in that case cause the symptoms of a sore throat with little white ulcers on back of throat it looks so minor and is just like sore throat but that is a symptom ...it comes and goes ...chlamydia can cause a type of athritis on male and many men have that without knowing its due to infection of sti ...Its very easy to clear up with doxycycline usually three tabs , if a woman has a bad case than you can take up to three weeks of doxy or just mild without PID 3 or four tabs ....
Its not worth making a life a misery over worrying about things, it happens you have sex and may not have taken the right precautions , no problem, take care next time and safe to do a test and at least use male condoms and condoms and dam shield for the guy if he wants to. But condom for oral until you can rejoice and have that night of unbridled passion without the rubbers !! sounds like fun to me:
