This is a somewhat strange question but it is not meant to be a joke or to be childish. What is the purpose of the female orgasm? Obviously with males the sperm is released so clearly reproduction can not take place without it. On the other hand nothing of the sort is released with the female orgasm. The only thing I can think of is because it feels good that would make woman want to have an orgasm thereby having sex and ensuring the survival of the species.
